Terms and Conditions
By using Hibrora you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, do not use it.
1 — What the service is
Hibrora is a tool that translates the text of pages you choose yourself, and shows each translation in the place of its own bubble. It is a tool in your hand, not a publisher and not a distributor of any work.
2 — Your account
The account is yours alone, and you do not share it. Your password is your responsibility — if you learn of a sign-in you do not recognise, change it and tell us at once.
We ask for a valid, lasting email address because it is our only way to recover your account if you lose it. We do not accept disposable addresses. Free trial pages may not be opened for you until you confirm your email with the code we send to it.
One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to collect the free credit again and again is a breach of these terms, and for that reason the free gift may not be granted to a new account on a device it was already used on.
3 — Credit and plans
Every page you translate is deducted from your plan's credit as announced in that plan.
A page is counted by its size, not by its number: each plan has a character limit by which a page is counted, so a long page may be deducted as two pages or more. This is shown to you in the app before translation begins, not after. Some translation models are heavier than others, and each has its announced weight.
Credit is only deducted after a translation succeeds. A failed attempt costs you nothing, and this is a fixed rule in how the service is built, not a general promise.
Credit renews with each subscription cycle, and what you do not use is not carried over to the next unless stated otherwise.
Subscriptions are sold through Google Play and renew automatically until you cancel them in Google Play. If you cancel, your plan stays until the end of the cycle you paid for. Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.
4 — Advertising on the free plan
The free plan shows ads, and they disappear entirely on the paid plans.
You may be offered a "rewarded ad" to watch in order to earn extra pages, up to an announced daily limit. Watching is your choice alone, and refusing takes nothing away from your plan.
Reward pages are a gift, not a purchase: they are not refunded, not transferred, and not exchanged for money, and they may be changed or stopped at any time.
Attempting to obtain the reward by a technical trick or with tools that fake the viewing is a breach of these terms.
What concerns advertising data is in the Privacy Policy, section 3.
5 — What is not allowed
Translating sexually explicit or pornographic material of any kind.
Translating anything that incites violence or hatred, or that exploits children in any form.
Using the service in a broad automated way that burdens the server or denies it to others.
Attempting to breach the service, to exceed your plan's limits by a technical trick, or to reach other people's data.
Reselling the service or presenting it to people as if it were your own.
6 — Rights in the works you translate
The works you translate are not yours and are not ours. You alone are responsible for making sure your use of a work is lawful where you live.
Hibrora is a tool for personal reading. Publishing, distributing or selling your translations may breach the rights of the owners of the work, and that is a matter between you and them for which we bear nothing.
See the Content Policy and Removal Requests for fuller detail.
7 — What we own
The Hibrora name, its logo, its design and its code are ours. As for your translations and your story memory terms, they are yours, and we do not use them for anything other than running the service for you.
8 — Restricting and suspending an account
We may refuse to translate a page that is in breach, and we may restrict an account temporarily — manually or automatically — if confirmed breaches repeat from it. The detail is in the Content Policy and Removal Requests.
A temporary restriction prevents translation only; its duration is shown to you in the app, and it lifts by itself when it expires.
A permanent suspension is a human decision taken after review, not an automatic verdict.
You may appeal from the app ("My account" then "Account status") or at support@hibrora.com — and if the restriction turns out to have been a mistake, it is lifted and you are compensated for what you missed.
9 — Push notifications
We may send notifications to your device: about your account and your subscription, and about service updates and news.
The permission is yours: you grant it when the app asks, and you withdraw it whenever you wish from your device settings or from the app — and that disables nothing in the service.
10 — The service is provided as is
We work to keep the service running and to improve the translation, but we do not guarantee absolute accuracy or uninterrupted operation. Machine translation makes mistakes, and servers sometimes fail.
Our liability for any damage does not exceed what you paid us in the last three months.
11 — Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. A material change is announced inside the app before it takes effect, and your continued use afterwards is acceptance of it.
12 — Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
